Maple Corner Restaurant

A great experience, nice quiet atmosphere with great service and a menu that will please anyone, the 16 oz pork chop is so tender it me lts in your mouth and the catfish is the best around, along with fresh baked bread and garden salad you won't go home hungry. The owner stopped by the table twice to check on our experience and took our 11 month old son on a tour so we could finish our meals. An enjoyable experience from start to finish.
Not bad, I think their Achilles Heel is their distance from I-74. You have to drive a couple of miles up the road to get there, and even then it is easy to get confused when you get to their parking lot. But once you get there you will be glad you did, it is a couple of steps up the ladder from the craphole down the road, which shall remain nameless, masquerading as "The Best Steakhouse in Indiana". Whatever happened to truth in advertising anyway. Ok, enough about the competition. The food at Maple Corner is good, not cheap but not overpriced as it is actually good. Never had a problem there myself, so I never had to test the theory that the "costumer" is always right. Never wear a costume myself, although I have been know to dress in drag. Try the catfish if you don't feel like having a steak, it is very good.
