Hobby's Inn
Reviews
Last weekend we stayed at the Spring Mill State Park near Mitchell. On Saturday we ventured out to find lunch in the area. We didn't find much and settled on Hobby's Inn Restaurant right of highway 37 in Bedford. We saw a sign for the restaurant on the highway and it stated it was family owned for 50 years. We decided if the restaurant has been open for that long, maybe it was good. Oh how we were wrong. We walked in just a little after noon and there wasn't a soul in the place (which should have been our first clue!) My wife ordered a Reuben sandwich that looked like it had set in the kitchen for a month. We ordered pizza for our kids off the kids menu. They came as slices that looked like they were torn from a frozen pizza with toppings moved around. I had the breaded tenderloin that was more breading than tenderloin. The cottage cheese and apple sauce was good though! And so was our waitress. She was very nice and on top of her job but we were the ONLY people in the place! We won't be making back the next time we are in the area. We will stick to the lodge food.
