I recently went to Cahoots Coffee Cafe and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and prices I found there. I had a great sandwich for lunch and followed it with a caramel latte. Both were high quality and tasty. It felt good to me to support a local business with a great cause and it was easy to do given the comfortable atmosphere and quality of the products. The staff was friendly and seemed to really care about the customers, children and adults alike. I will go again and I will enjoy it!
I was not impressed, the shop just looked like stuff was thrown where ever. The drinks were terrible they were overly sweet and even that couldnt mask the bitterness of the burnt espresso. The barista wasnt friendly, and she had too look up how to make both the drinks I bought! they both were terrible couldnt even finish them!
I love Cahoots!! Nice local place with great coffee and food. I love their House Blend and Sumatra coffees - yum! Good cappuccinos too. The menu is small but the food is tasty (AWESOME portobello mushroom panino!) - made to order and very affordable. The location and atmosphere are good - it's spacious inside with enough room for kids and adults. They have events like bands and special dinners. And free WIFI! Plus the cause is great - it's run by two local churches to provide a positive and constructive atmosphere for Angola's youth.
Cahoots is great, cozy spot for grabbing a cup in Angola. While I was visiting family in town, Cahoots was a great getaway where I could settle into a corner and get a little work done on the free wifi -- and the prices are amazing. I'd also much rather give my money to such a great cause.
