We've eaten here hundreds of times since it opened originally under a different name. I have never had a bad meal here. Sometimes there was a wait to get seated and service was a little slow, but that is to be expected when they are busy. Now that they have expanded there usually isn't much of a wait for a seat on the weekends and with the kitchen expansion nearly finished, there shouldn't be much of a wait for your food. There used to be a sign on the wall that stated "you may have to wait a while for your food, but every meal is made fresh by hand and will be worth waiting for".
Awesome Food! I may be just a tiny bit bias, (Tracy is after all my daughter), You can get a T-Shirt that taunts "Warm Beer and Lousy Food" but the reality is the other extreme. Perdue's has such a diverse menu that everyone can find something they like no matter how finicky of an eater they are. Perdue's is like having the best parts of the menu from an Applebee's, Outback, Chili’s, Ruby Tuesday, Steak & Shake, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Pizza Hut and it's all on the menu inside Perdue's Grill in the little town of in Tremont, Illinois. Perdue's Grill will be expanding in the next few weeks. Try it, and see for yourself. Yeah, You Might Say I am the Proud Parent and Father-In-Law! Way To Go Tim & Tracy! Keep It Up! Rich / Dad
Decent place. Food food.
Waited twenty minutes without being acknowledged. Never got seated.
Our company recently moved to Tremont, and we've been here a few times in the last couple of months. Lunch prior to noon is awesome, quick and delicious. After noon it gets a little busy, but it's to be expected. Food quality is phenomenal, burgers can apparently leave a bit to be desired when they're busy. One of the best club sandwiches I've ever had - ever. Go out of your way to try the Chicken Philly... unbelievable sandwich. To the person who said it was slow and people were rude - the experience is what you make of it. If it's busy, don't expect someone to stand at your table waiting on you hand and foot. If you're not happy, tell someone. Small places like Perdue's encourage feedback, it's the only way they get better. If you sit there and expect the servers to read your mind, you're going to have a bad time. Anyway, if you're in central IL, definitely stop in Tremont and give this place a try.
