2nd review. Stopped for sliced smoked brisket (my usual) got it to go and ended up with a zip lock baggy of mostly fat. My dog benifited more than myself. very dissapointing . If you get food to go , you might want to check it before you leave. Email the company , but got no response from them. Guess they don't care, about the food quality or customer retention. The sauce is still good though...... below is my first review. I've eaten here about 6 times. until now, and the food quality seems to have change for the worst... (first review) WOW ! The variety of sauce is excellent. My favorite is the original. Smoked brisket is exquisite. Best slaw, creamy and fresh. This is the absolute best BBQ I have had in a long time. THANK YOU UNCLE JOES!!!!!
I stop here on occasion and order the sloppy joes. I prefer a manwich type sauce but these will do in a pinch. The sauce is sweet not tangy like Manwich, but for restaurant sloppy joes they aren't bad. They do run out of them later in the day so if you're set on sloppy joes you better call and check. I order them with onion but the onion is sliced too thin. I like my onion with crunch and thinly sliced onions seems a bit on the soggy side.
Hey Uncle Joe's, stopped into your restaurant a couple of months ago when I was passing through. You guys had a really tasty brisket sandwich! Smoke was nice, not overpowering, and the brisket was well cooked, juicy and very tasty. I do have to tell you that your Sweet Smoke sauce is a cut above the rest. I used to use Sweet Baby Ray's, and that is some pretty good sauce, but yours has it beat by a country mile. I smoke ribs at home and wouldn't use any other sauce. Keep up the good work and see you next time I'm in town.
