When in Dixon, IL or just on the interstate, for me, Flynnie's was absolutely my most favorite place to hang out. Living abroad, when I come home, there is nothing more that I miss then the feeling of a good diner or a truck stop. I will tell you a little secret... I did a few IT jobs for them which required crawling around on my knees in the kitchen behind the stove and under the tables to do some re-wiring. Never in all of the restaurants that I have been in, have I seen a place so clean. I was quite impressed. There wasn't a speck of grease, a crumb or anything even behind the stove. I am so confident of the quality of their food, their cleanliness and even the owners that I will always give my loyalty to this Diner. Thank you Flynnie's for reminding me of Home every time I return. You can not possibly know the value to an old soldier.
