The LuBar and Bistro
Reviews
This place was just the thing we were looking for to finish off a long day. The menu was large, the food was spectacular and we travel often. When we finished our meals, or tried... I had the pasta and the servings were just amazingly huge, we headed to the bar where we relaxed for a few hours over some nice wine selections. This place is like a large Chicago or Boston bar with the main dining rome upstairs and a bar like a speak-easy in the basement. It was really cool!
I was there March 16th 2013. The service was good, the atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. I met the owner she was cheerful and told me the history of the place. The pulled pork sandwich is to die for. I`m Kelly.
The salad dressing is good but everything else is sub par. I had a sandwich and salad lunch. The sandwich meat was full of fat and there was one sad piece of meat on there. Very, very over priced and not worth the money. We would never eat here again.
We bought two $20 gift certificates from Groupon. We went there on a Friday night and the food we were served wasn't good and the server never came back to check on us until it was time to pay. We used one of groupons and just threw the other one away. I think it shows how much we disliked it if we didn't even return to use the other $20.
I spend a lot of time on the road for my occupation so I like to think that I've eaten in some pretty good places. I was lucky enough to have a dinner at the bar with a group of fellow engineers at LuBars and COULD NOT be happier with my experience there. I have been back twice a week for two months ever since. The atmosphere is perfect (I've only been downstairs), the barkeeps are kind and very personable. The wings are perfect, the beer is cold and the pizza is top notch. The steaks are......good, but I cannot complain. The overall feel of the place is great. The food is good, the people are great, why go anywhere else? Just my humble opinion.
