I am usually very easy to please with restaurant food, but Slup's is just disappointing every time I have tried to eat there. I have had various menu items on several occasions and have not had a decent meal yet. Be prepared to wait, even if it is not busy (usually not). I would rate the Cafe way better, Tuesday tacos much better, gas station pizza superior and snack food from the golf course clubhouse even better than Slup's. Owner/manager is often surly and rude to complete the experience. If you're in B'ville, and everything but Slup's is closed, then I strongly recommend that you just skip it and go home.
Obviusly some one has personal problems with the restraunt is fine good food and the service is good. I recommend tryin it out.
