We stopped off after reading in our local paper about the new coffee shop in Arthur. I am a chai lover and have one once or twice a week at our local coffee shop which is not the local chain(Starbucks) I ordered a chai as did my Mom and daughter along with two cinnamon rolls and a donut for us. The rolls were to die for! Yummy and they warmed them up. The donut was very moist is what my Mom told me. As for the chai's. I would have to say order regular coffee. You could not even taste the chai. They did not put enough powder in it. The milk was not warmed up enough to it was like drinking a cup of warm milk. The atmosphere was like a small resturaunt not like a coffee shop. It had a couch and a rock in the corner also. It was very clean and well kept. Maybe it was a new worker I don't know. I just know what a chai (vanilla) taste like and that was not it! I wish them the best! The food is excellent and their sandwiches looked so yummy. They make breakfast too! Give it a try! One bad cup won't stop me from going!!
When this place opened, as the previous review states, their coffee specialties still needed some perfection. I am told that they do a much better job now. However, I am not a coffee drinker, so I wil refrain from critiquing the taste of their coffee. I will say that their 24+ flavors of icecream are delicious (and very affordable too!). For those of you like myself, who may not like coffee, their sweet ice tea is the best and includes free refills. This is my favorite place in Arthur to meet a friend for conversation or planning outside of regular meal times because they do have a variety of treats. They do serve some meal items, but ... I highly recommend: Ice cream products, sweet tea, and I believe its their "frappucino" that I have also had the was awesome!
I love Roselen's. I work at a local business there in arthur and my co-workers and I believe that their bacon ham egg mozzarella warms the heart mind and soul. We love them.
