We have always had a great experience here... That was until today. Our server asked if we were ready and we asked for just a second to pick an appetizer. She didn't come back for at least 10 minutes. At that point we needed refills, she offered and I said yes. We didn't see our refills, appetizer (chips and salsa) for another half hour. She had to be asked for refills and the appetizer. We had less than two minutes after receiving our appetizer before our dinner was sent out. Ridiculous... Plus, two other parties were sat, served and out before we had a chance to eat. Will not be going back.

Chili’s in Pocatello has never been a fast place, from their grand opening to now they have had very poor service in both quality and promptness. I have been there on many occasions, always hoping they have improved but, alas they never have. From messing up orders to a discourteous staff that can sparsely admit they are wrong or fix what they have messed up. On more than one occasion they were incredibly slow even though they weren't busy and when you look around you see servers eating and chatting at one of the tables. The quantity of the food has decreased while the cost of the food has gone up. Together the slow service, lack of a caring staff, portion size and food cost leaves one with a bad taste in their mouth. It is too bad they couldn't have gotten it together because when prepared properly the food does taste quite nice.

Better than average. Ribs are good. Service excellent. Menu is not as varied as some but the portions are big and the food is as good as you would expect. Atmosphere is a little quieter than a lot of restaurants in this class and it's slightly dark but comfortable. Good for families.

Every chili's I've been to has had very good service and been very quick. Not here. My wife and I stopped here for dinner on our way to an important event. There were few people in the restaurant, so we thought it would be fast. Five or six employees were sitting in a booth talking and joking. After ordering, we waited for our food. And waited. And waited. And waited. After literally an hour (to cook two orders of chicken strips) they brought out our food. The wrong food. Now late, we ate it anyways, not willing to wait for them again to cook the right food. We ate as quickly as we could and waited for the check. And waited. And waited. Our two servers were both cleaning a single table, not a large booth, a single table. I don't write reviews, especially not negative ones. But this was a truly terrible dining experience. Chili's is a great chain, but this particular restaurant is unbelievably bad.

I believe in second chances but not thirds. The first time I went I ordered a meal for two, and they messed it up and it was just for one so because I was on a date I was still starving and had to order something else. Rather than admit their mistake they just did not charge me for the second one but never said sorry. Second chance, we sat by the back and had to listen to the kitchen help cuss up a storm. In the event I do give a third chance I will post my findings, sometime know how you go back just hoping…
