my wife and I ate here tonight. the service was great but the food was sub par. we like to eat at the one in logan. it was our first visit to the pocatello location. I thought the food was so so and my wife has food poisoning. I don't know if it was the wings or the milk she was brought. (it was warm) last visit to the pocatello location.
I've been to plenty of BWWs, I go there for the sports and the beer. One thing I will have to say about the Pokey BWW is the service and bartenders. That's what makes a sports bar, the servers and the bartenders. I've always had fabulous service and the bartenders are personable!
I love this place! I use to go at least once a week, but since they changed their wings it seems that the value has dropped - 1 star for that... I will continue to go and watch football there once in a while. They do have a great selection of beer!
When they firs opened things were just OK.....Joe the Manager now has turned thing around. Great wings cold beer and great service. Candy the bartender all ways treats us great.
Went there for a birthday celebration, the place was hopping. Have been there before when there were massive crowds and service was quick. We watched people coming, getting there food, still waiting... After an hour we asked where our food was. We finally flagged down waitress, she checked, and found out our food had been taken to another table! But how many times in an hour? She felt bad and told us to not worry about the bill. We didn't expect her to pay for it! When we finished, a manager (we assume, he didn't introduce himself) apologized, said that there were a couple of large parties there too (ours was 6 adults, one baby). And our food did indeed go to another table. He really wanted to buy us dessert. We were ready to leave, had been there 2 hours, and told him we didn't want dessert. He kept trying to talk us into it. Finally he just said I'll get it for your wife. (this conversation all took place with our birthday person. The rest of us, including the person paying the bill was not consulted) Do we feel like this was taken care of to our satisfaction. NO! We didn't need the total bill taken care of, but really a dessert that wasn't wanted and the rest of us was not consulted? Pretty poor PR.
