They're the only pizza place in town. Which would give them an excuse to be marginal at best. They far excede that, pizza as good as you can get in the bigger cities.
Having spent the last 20 years in the New York/New Jersey area... and about to be relocated out West, one of the more common things I hear others express is their certainty that I will miss the pizza from the east coast. I just laugh. For I know something they do not. I know whenever I visit the town where I grew up, Nezperce Idaho, that I will be able to get a pizza at Sheri's that will put that east coast cheese-coated flat bread to shame! Sure, if you want that "authentic" lame cheese/tomato/bread experience that is original as a plain McD's hamburger??? Go ahead, fly to NY & knock yourself out! ...but if you want a slice of life that goes well beyond the basic 3 or sometimes (OMG) FOUR ingredient pie... Go to Sheri's & live a little. (NY pizza... phhhhht!)
Sheri's is the best Pizza you will find hands down. We always go out of out way and take old Hwy 7 to Nezperce, 50 extra miles, just to get our hands on the best pizza around. The supreme is is second to none, one slice and your full for the day. The pizza is worth every drop of gas it takes to get there.
