Came for the first time at the recommendation of some friends. Had a bad experience. -We stood up front waiting for someone to seat us for several awkward minutes until the bartender came out and asked us if we wanted to stand or sit. -Wrong beer order came -1 hour wait before appetizer came -another 1 hour after that until our server came and asked us if we had already eaten yet or if we were still waiting for our food - then our food came soon after and we had to ask for silverware and napkins. -got the burgers - quite dry and there was a large hunk of pork fat in one of the burgers (?!?!?!). couldn't finish it after biting into that -Couldn't get a receipt here - they offer an emailed receipt if you type in your email onto their iphone. No one ever mentioned to us that the kitchen was backed up and that it would take a while. I was really excited about this place (menu looks great and excellent beer selection!) but I will likely not be returning.
Good food and good service. Server was very knowledgable about the food and the beverage selections. For not being in a metropolitan area this place is doing a great job adding an adventurous flare to the food.
A Moscow Gem: Perhaps in a big city Gnosh would only rate 4 stars for mot the biggest menu, but they are a gem in Moscow ID. Vegetarians and meat eaters alike should be perfectly happy and accomodated with their menu, and our server was very knowledgeable of the seasonal menu offerings, the extensive and somewhat eclectic beer selection, and the wine list. Everything we ordered was imaginative and interesting. Gnosh is not particularly expensive if you are used to big city prices.
Great food, great service and creative new menus for every season. Our favorite in the Moscow/Pullman area by far, our no-brainer date night choice. The soups are fantastic (try the crawfish bisque) as are the steaks. Simply put: delicious.
