In-attentive wait staff, un-available menu items, food came out of order, and some items late. Manager first said all our food was comped and then later said it was only one meal of our six that was comped and two meals half off. My friend always tries to tell me how great Applebee's is... He convinced the six of us to come here tonight expecting something good. What a mistake. Excuses right and left for the sub-par service and food.
A coworker and I spent a week in Lewiston for a system startup. I had read the reviews for Applebees there and was looking to be disappointed. We tried to go on a friday night after work and the parking lot was filled(people were even starting to park along the sides of the lot). We bailed. On Sunday the restaurant was still filled so we sat at the bar. Rachel was very attentive, polite, courteous and aside form all that she did a pretty darn good job. Food was out timely. Neither my coworker nor I are picky eaters so I don't think a food rating from me is fair but the food didn't suck. We will go again.
My sister had a moldy tomato. It was friggin grose!
If you didn't have time to spend the rest of the day on the pot, then don't bother. Hand washing was totally over rated.
I stoped going to Applebee's for about two years because their food was extremely salty and the service was awfull. Last week I decided to give them a second opportunity but it was a mistake. We waited for lunch about 30 minutes without the waitress apologyzed or letting us know that there was a problem with the kithchen (assuming that was the problem, I believe the waitress forgot to place the food order). I told the manager about it and she brought the food back so fast that my food was all over the plate. The rice was everywhere and the plate was totally dirty ( it seem like they served it with their hands). When I asked the manager why the plate was so dirty her excuse was that "it was served in a rush." At that point I was not hungry anymore and I did not eat anything. I will never go back nor recomend this place. I will spend my money at the local restaurants, better food and support the locals
