We were in West Yellowstone and could not locate a Room. We were told about Anglers Lodge, and it was about 30 Minte from the West Gate. The accommodations were Great. The Room faced the Henry Fork of the Snake River, and the Deck Overlooked the River. We Dined at their restaurant and the food was Great and Reasonable. Zak was a clean and respectable young man and very helpful. This place is a hidden treasure, a Real Diamond in the Rough.
We had a great time here with several small kids and more than a few special requests! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I experienced great service in both the restaurant and the lodge sections. I would definitely come stay here again if I were ever coming back through the beautiful Yellowstone area!

Great character and vibe. We (couple in our 30s) passed through Island Park on a long roadtripfrom San Francisco and happened upon the Anglers Lodge. The rooms were well appointed with a definite lodge feel and each has a deck overlooking the river. It was awesome to sit outside in the evening to watch and listen to the creek and the wildlife. There is a restaurant in the lodge and also a bar. We spent the evening sampling local beer chatting with the owners and other guests. We had a wonderful night at this lodge, totally immersed in Idaho summer. Highly recommend it!
i absolutely love this place. it is in a beautiful location right on the river. from the deck outside my door, i saw an eagle pick a fish up out of the water! the service was amazing, there was some really nice people working there. the restaurant had hand-made bread, and my steak was cooked perfectly. we stayed here because it was less money than the hotels at the entrance of yellowstone park, and much nicer. i had an awesome time here, and highly recommend it!
