Great food
What a dive. The restaurant was actually pretty good, but the bar was a joke. Compared to other bars in town, the prices were high. The bar had a stench of stale cigarettes and urine. I was in Pocatello on business and this bar was near my hotel. It was well worth the drive to keep on going down Yellowstone to any other bar. When I talked to locals, apparently at one time it was THE PLACE in Pocatello, but current management has run it into the ground. Too, bad because the bar was spacious and had potential.
I'm not a country fan, but I do see potential when it’s there. This is a huge bar with tons of dance floor space as well as plenty of seating. It even has a mechanical bull for crying out loud!!! However, management needs to take a crash course (or long course) in marketing and customer service. The bouncers are horrific and cause over 50% of the trouble in the place. The Bartenders are horrible with customer service. Hint: if you want tips and make money be friendly to the people who order drinks! Just a thought, you can take it or leave it. In the end The Green T could be a very nice money making bar, but chooses to be a rough neck hillbilly bar that encourages the bouncers to fight and harass people. Rule 1: I'm the boss, what I say goes. Rule 2: Expect the unexpected Rule 3: Take it outside Rule 4: BE NICE!!!
