The best! The smoked prime rib on Friday and Saturday nights is a revelation. Absolutely delicious and tender with the added bonus of the smoky flavor. The chef/owner smokes the prime rib and the pork ribs on premises. He and his wife run the place themselves and are the nicest people. I highly recommend the Saddle Up.
We love our little restaurant. Amazing food and wonderful staff.
I have only been there for breakfast. It sucked. The gravy was canned. the potatoes were WAY overcooked and packaged frozen gunk. The chicken fried steak was greasy and cooked to shoe leather. NOTHING was good at all. It also took 45 minutes to get the food and we were the only ones there. I would have been fine with that if it didn't suck. It was also overpriced. To bad. The owners seem really nice, but the food wasn't. I have never gone back. Maybe the dinner is better.
Owner is very gracious and friendly, staff is usually pretty good. However, the food is frozen & pre-processed; not made from scratch. It is also expensive for the type of restaurant in this area.
Both my husband and I had hamburger for dinner this evening. Wow! The Angus hamburgers were outstanding in flavor and texture. Restaurant had a soothing atmosphere with easy listening music. The staff was attentive and friendly.
