Texas Roadhouse
Reviews
We went to Texas Roadhouse back in early November just after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. We talked to the manager, Jason Winters, at that time and told him about it. Tonight we went to Texas Roadhouse and as we were leaving, Jason was there, asked us how we were doing and remembered me and my situation. He asked how things were going and I told him real well. He said that he needed a hug and that the restaurants thoughts and prayers were with us for a recovery. That in my opinion was way above and beyond excellent care for their customers. It was very touching that he remembered us and we will definitely be back for a WONDERFUL meal! Thanks again Texas Roadhouse for thinking of me!
We showed up late in the evening, on the tail end of a very fun date. We were laughing and slightly unruly, lol, but we were welcomed in and treated very well!! The entire staff was friendly and made us feel welcomed. The service was excellent. The bar menu had an awesome variety of drinks to choose from. Our food came out at the perfect time and tasted great. We love this place and we'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to eat in Sioux City, IA. ~Stephen and Rachell Bullard~
Four out of five meals were over cooked and the service was..really bad. I don't leave bad reviews and maybe it was an off night but...not a great experience.
I would actually rate this restaurant like, ten-stars if they'd let me. Always great, attentive service, friendly people working there--the management seems to require high standards, and still treats staff decently. I always look at that, because I used to be part of the staff in two or three restaurants during high school and college, and it counts for a lot in my book when staff are treated with respect. It also makes a difference in quality, the way the job gets done and in the way customers are ultimately treated when the staff is appreciated and respected. I've always loved Texas Roadhouses wherever I have tried them, even though some are definitely better-run than others, I have never been disappointed in the way I was treated or in the quality of food I was served in any of them, and this one shines. My menu favorites? Everything I've tried, which is nearly everything. But I love to get one of their combos--like pulled pork and ribs, then a side of sweet potato--loaded, of course! The appetizers pull me in every time--there are three or four I have trouble eliminating--the cactus onions, rattlesnake bites and deep-fried dill pickles are especially good choices. The price is higher than fast food, of course, but not too high for the type of restaurant it is. It's a quality restaurant at a reasonable price, so the whole family can enjoy.
