The food was wonderful. The talk about the history of the building is well worth the hstorical value. You are invited to wander around and enjoy the house. The second floor gift rooms were well done and up to date. This is worth the drive from Des Moines and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a couple of hours of relaxing and fine food.
