Awesome place!! My husband had a tenderloin that was amazing and my burger was excellent as well! Homemade onion rings are also wonderful! The staff was very friendly and everything is well priced! Check it out if you haven't been there yet!
A friend had told us that Scooter's had an awesome tenderloin so we made the 170 mile round trip from CR on 10/2/13. We were not disappointed, it was quite large, really meaty, done golden brown, came with abundant pickles and thinly sliced onions. You could cut in half and make a double! Would I do it again? You betcha, it is one of the top 5 in the state for sure.. Great service also.
Food is wonderful. But they need more staff. They don't have enough waitresses on busy nights. Better to send people home then be short handed.
Well people... its owner operated and you most generally have to seat yourself unless otherwise posted. Most people don't sit at the bar to have a meal so of course they probably won't ask if you want food. I have never had a bad meal there yet! The place is extremely clean. I am a custodian so I have the right to rate them on that with 5+ stars. I also have yet to witness a "bar fight" or anyone spitting chew on the floor. The place is almost always packed in the evenings and everyone is very friendly. Yes it is in a bar setting for the most part but one side is more "family friendly". Oh did I mention that I love the food!
The one star review made us a little uneasy but we were hungry and stopped in anyway. At no point were we disappointed, the staff was friendly and fast. It was very clean (including bathrooms) and organized. I've never heard of a redneck bar that gives you mints with your bill either. It wasn't loud, if u don't want it loud, don't come when the band and kareoke starts.(9) The wait for food was reasonable,25 minutes for 3 people, don't forget there was a reception dinner meanwhile. There is plenty of side games to occupy you, pool, foosball, and a digital jukebox. Oh, and the food was just fine, I ate it all.
