This is possibly the worst McDonald's I have ever eaten at. I went to the counter and asked for a plain Big Mac. The girl at the counter gave me a blank stare for about 5 seconds. She then replied, "What"? I repeated my order, and even said it a third time for emphasis. She pushed the buttons at the cash register, charged me, gave me my food, and I left. When I got home, I hurriedly opened my burger, as I didn't have much time to eat. When I opened the paper, I made sure to check the burger, because this McDonalds ALWAYS messes up my order. Not surprisingly, I look at the burger and see every topping imaginable, despite my repeated requests for a plain burger. I had to hurry back to McDonald's on my dwindling time schedule. I also forgot to mention that when I ordered, my 2 family members and I were LITERALLY the ONLY ONES IN THE RESTAURANT. When I did finally manage to get the right burger, it was disgusting and bland. The french fries were saturated with grease, to the point they actually dripped. The soda was tasteless and seemed watered down. The bathrooms had been neglected, and had a thick layer of grime on everything. The employees themselves seemed crusty, and had no apparent regard for personal hygiene.
This McDonalds is so bad I live in Clarinda and would not set foot there to save my life. It is absolutely disgusting. Service is poor at best and the few times I have eaten there I feel sick after. My advice get a snickers if your passing through better McDonald s down the road!
Very poor service. The manager allows kids to loiter in front of the store making out skating smoking spitting on cars. Very poor place. They suck.
Restaurant very dirty, bad layout causes severe congestion at registers when only mildly busy. Condiment island dirty and mostly unattended (no ketchup). Employees very unmotivated. Men's room absolutely filthy and half of the fixtures out of order. Not representative of McDonalds as a whole.
Now that the store is under new management, this McDonald's is MUCH BETTER! Faster service, nicer employees, and better tasting food DEFINATELY!
