The Continental is a great place to stay. The building historical but yet extremely up to date. The rooms are fantastic and the staff is amazing. The restaurant has amazing food at a reasonable price. I will stay here again. I won't even look for another hotel.
This is one of my favorite spots to eat in southern iowa. Amazing home made food. Beautiful, historic decor, and really napkins. Sweetest staff you will ever have. I never even saw the tv or bar from where we sitting. I had a 5 and 6 yr old with me they brought crayons and activity pad. It is very popular so it is no suprise sometimes it is crowded. But the noise is just normal converstation. The desserts are to die for. I would have Sunday lunch there every week if we could!
This hotel has to be the friendiest place i have ever been too. They have that small town hospitality that just makes you feel welcome. Thank you to the Continental gang!!
Very happy. Huge 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment for our family of 4. We come to the lake and stay here. Friendly staff and great service. Full sit down made to order breakfast is included. Only $130 a night. If you are in the area this is the place to stay.
