Excellent food and the staff is very attentive. I would recommend to anyone. They treat you like family!
The food was absolutely authentic Mexican food! The mole poblano was the best I have had outside of Mexico! !! The atmosphere was excellent, clean restaurant and the best service I've had in a long time. Tomas and Roberto the bartender were very helpful and on top of everything. If that wasn't enough, the draft beer was ice cold. I don't ever write reviews but this restaurant deserves it.
Great food awesome experience, Thomas the manager is so helpful and accommodating I love Mexican Food but one time I could not decide what to order, Thomas gave me several suggestions, I decided to order the Gorditas which is like a taco but with a different type of tortilla more like a cross between a tortilla and a pita bread, it was so good, I had one of their frozen margaritas and my wife she likes Corona beer when she eats Mexican food, by the way she had their Steak Taco Loco she loved it this entree was so big she could not eat it all so she took almost half of it home and had it for lunch the next day. I really like the Bettendorf Habaneros Restaurant, if you have a problem or request something special Thomas and his staff has always been so helpful and accommodating I always order 3 toasted jalapeno peppers with my food and Habanero's has always fulfilled my request, except one time when they were out of jalapenos, probably because I had been their three times that week at used up their inventory of jalapenos. I had such a good time at the new Bettendorf Habeneros. The atmosphere felt particularly fresh to me, and there was plenty of space to seat our large group. The menu included the favorite Mexican dishes I expected, along with several unique options. My tamales were pretty tasty, and I thought the caldo de pollo soup was delicious. I actually wanted to eat everything on the menu so I'll have to go back again soon.
Our food came out really fast but extremely hot. Nice environment. Server made us feel stupid when we asked about something on the menu by pointing out that the descriptions were at the bottom of the menu with a demeaning tone.
