We went up for our son's 27th birthday. Nice drive up there. We sat outside and enjoyed the river view, boaters, kids feeding the fish, and the view. The food was excellent! We will be back.
Was referred to this quaint little pub by a co-worker, now my family and I are hooked! First Friday of every month is rib night and they are to die for! Saturday night is prime rib night which is wonderful, melt-in-your-mouth greatness! The atmosphere is fun - they have marshmellows you can roast at your table and a spider (fake) on a fishing line for your kids to torment patrons on the lower deck! Worth the drive from Cedar Rapids (about 20 minutes)
Great food in a relaxed atmosphere. Any of the appetizers are highly recommended and the decks by the river are great for a long afternoon lunch.
Great atmosphere. Prime rib (Saturday's) night can't be missed. Can't go wrong with any of the appetizers.
My family and I got asked to give up our table for other guests. They were rude and very unprofessional. And when we refused they kicked us out.
