Had the loco moco hamburger, a soda and a strawberry malasada. It was absolutely delicious. Front of the place is being remodeled but back is fine. Fast service, good food, nice atmosphere. Excellent place overall.

We travelled all the way here from CT to taste the malasadas, recommended by a family friend who is from Honokaa. They were worth the trip! Hot, fresh malasadas are just the ticket on a colder day. Try a plate lunch or array of loco mocos. It's just the kind of local joints I look for. Real cheap, real good, real food. Wicked awesome!
