I recently relocated to this area from Myrtle Beach, SC and discovered this place to be conveniently located very close to my residence. So I visited one Monday night because they advertise karaoke Mon thru Thu. Well, their karaoke sucked. It was a dj whom you could tell was only doing karaoke to please his boss. Unfortunately I left my jacket and scarf, so I called a few days later. Reached a truly nice and personable young lady who was kind enuff to check their lost and found. I described my personal items and she reassured me they were indeed there. I went 2 days later to claim my items and was greeted by some really old rude bleached blonde skank hag behind the bar who's first words of greeting to me were "you looking for the bathroom?". I was planning to order a drink and ask about my jacket and scarf, but she was so truly hateful and rude I just said nope, don't need your bathroom, just want to pick up my jacket and scarf. She practically threw me out and told me they simply were not there. It's my intentions to pursue this even if it involves local law enforcement because of her truly horrendous people skills. Found out she's actually the owner's wife, so obviously conditions are not subject to improve. I hope you never have to enjoy her hospitality. It's a crude and godawful place.
After tipping the bartender a total of $30 (10 for each round), I was told that I opened too many tabs, and that she was "done with me." Later on, I found out that this lady was actually the owner of the bar! It was also my birthday party, and all of my family was there. I was yelled at and treated with complete disrespect just for opening too many tabs. In actuality, I only opened one tab, but used my card 2 other times after closing it. I realize that they were busy, but I was very patient and I always tip very well. It completely ruined my night. I will never go back to this bar if this is how they treat their customers.
I love this place. Great for happy hour.
