This place has gone from great to mediocre. I remember when they had some really interesting and delicious items on the menu. The last time I was there I had to actually settle for something because everything on the menu could be bought way cheaper at a fast food restaurant. Really? Fish tacos. A burger. These were among the examples of what the lunch menu looked like. The salad was as salty as seawater. The fish tacos were bland. The only good thing--- but was still too expensive ---was the two crab cakes I ate. Absolutely delicious, but for just TWO--- $11. 😳 Very disappointed. 😒
Very friendly staff, good food, didn't feel ripped off. A tad on the pricey side but worth it overall. my wife and I had a breakfast and dinner here while staying at the Mansion. The steak was perfectly cooked and very tasty. The breakfast cost a little too much for what it was but was still a quality experience. Would recommend.
The food and atmosphere was fantastic. I was disappointed in that we had a long wait for our dinner (almost an hour) and all in our party of four ordered fish. I was also taken aback that there was no dress code for the guest. When you dine out at a Five Star restaurant, you don't expect guest to be wearing everything from shorts, jeans to dress slacks and jacket. The manager was very accommodating once I spoke to the hostess about how long we had been sitting without our meals being served and that others who had been seated after our party had been already had their meals in front of them. Over all, it was a very nice meal and ended walking across the street to Forsyth Park to walk off our meal. If I had any suggestions it would be, better service and better trained staff as well as a dress code for the guest.
Amazing service & food.
Enjoyed the food and the service was OK. I overhead our waitress ask the couple beside us if they wanted to charge their dunner to the room but she assume we were not staying at the sane hotel and just ask for my card. Its a decent place for couples.
