Wow! Great tasting food. So fresh i couldn't hardly touch it. I will be a carters regular from now on whenever i visit cordele in the future
You must have a LARGE cheeseburger to appreciate Carterburgers. They have 2 sizes. A large DOUBLE simply melts in your mouth. I am not sure what corner of Heaven they hide whatever they batter the fried chicken with, but it surely must be guarded by a large army. The chicken is good! Recently I also tried the chicken fingers. Same batter. Same great taste. If you find yourself in or near Cordele, GA, you have to go to Carterburgers.
Happened upon this South Georgia gem on our way to Tifton. It was great!!! Sweet potato fries were awesome, fried chicken rocked, chicken filet sandwich was huge and juicy, and the corn nuggets were perfect. Try this place. Old school atmosphere, walk up diner....so worth it. Seems out of town, but great place and super nice folks!!!!! Best of all...the donuts..... Heavenly!!!!!!!! Thanks Carter's for a great meal! The Lady at the hotel front desk told me about Carter's after I ask about some chicken livers the food was great my only complaint was when I got back to my room to eat they didn't give me any hot sauce who eats livers without any hot sauce it's good I went to Walmart and got some Texas Pete on my way to pick up my dinner
