Visited here for our company Christmas lunch/party and loved it. Food was great, atmosphere was pleasant and authentic. Would like to give it a whirl on my own one day soon.

I was excited to try this restaurant that is so close to Chastain Park, yet I was surprisingly disappointed. Our group of 8 was one of the only parties in the restaurant and we didn't receive attentive service. I tried a variety of dishes - fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese fritters, kale salad with horseradish sauce, shrimp & grits, and the swordfish special. None of these dishes wowed me. The fried tomatoes weren't flavorful and the pimento cheese wasn't overly flavorful. The salad was tossed too heavily in the dressing, while the shrimp & grits as well as the swordfish wasn't incredibly flavorful. I know others have had great experiences but I worn against too high of expectations.

I had a brunch there in one of my trips to Atlanta for business errands and it happened that we met at the place while discussing the deal and I would say I enjoyed the meal very much which consists of Hickory grilled Angus cheeseburger which I found to be flavorful. The beef was perfectly done to perfection. The cheese heightened the flavor because it just melt as it hits my mouth. Thinking about it now left my mouth watering. Overall, the service was great and highly recommended!

Food and service are excellent. Valet not needed imo.

We went for lunch on a Friday. The restaurant was only 1/4 full, yet we had to wait for the hostess to look up from her phone to realize we were standing there. We were shown to our table and given menus, however we had to wait 15-20 minutes to have our order taken. A couple at a booth next to us were there prior to our being seated, and they finally flagged down the waiter and told him they were ready to order. He took their order, avoided us and came back in about 5 minutes to take ours. The service was ridiculous and we were ready to leave. The food is good, but way overpriced. Not sure if snooty, poor service is supposed to be an indication of an "upscale" restaurant, but we won't be back. The only service that was exceptional was the valet person, he actually ran to get our car. Great job. I suggest the owner look at his staff more closely...and give the valet person a raise.
