i thought this place was pretty good. got it to go so i don't know about the service. we had the brisket and ribs. bbq was tender and tasty and about what you'd expect to pay. i liked the slaw too, mayo based. people who worked there were friendly. i would recommend.

This is NOT Texas brisket. For one he (the cook) told me he scrapes the fat off the brisket and everyone knows thats from Texas that you work hard to keep the fat on, its called a bark. Second there is no smoke ring. Last he only serves lean ( from the flat of the brisket) no point ( the point is where the fatty part of the brisket is and is the best). This guy is giving Texas brisket a bad name.
The BBQ here is really bad. Some of the worst I have ever had in my life. It tastes like food that could be bought in a vending machine. If you love average, good, great, amazing bbq this is not the place for you! If you LOVE mediocre or poor bbq this is your place. This place shouldnt even be in business unless they change their name to Mediocre BBQ Cafe. The service was excellent though, so I want that to be known.
Jim's is one of my favorites for real BBQ. This is FLORIDA folks. These people work there butts off long hours evey day. The atmosphere fits small town FL. If you want great BBQ go here. If you want glitzy atmosphere and lousy BBQ. Go somewhere else. I choose JIMS.
