Ramada Naples

Very good hotel for the money we paid for it. The location is ok, you can walk 20 min down to the beach, or you can take the car to 4th Av S where there is a free parking house and the walk down 5th Av which is cute with shops and restaurants. At the end of 5th is the beach! The rooms are fairly spacious. There is a small fitness room ( two running machines, one cycling, one cross-trainer and a few weights). Simple but good breakfast. Good wi-fi. Nice staff at the reception that told us and explained what to do in Naples.
The room was horrible, The water comes out yellow ( which by the way I told the manager and he said oh well it's the city water), plus the water is ICE COLD! I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!
Nice staff. The food was excellent at the restaurant. The only complaint I have is that there are no curtains in the rooms, only thin net curtains where you can see inside the room if the lights are on. There are no lifts either.
I stayed at this hotel while I was commuting to the keys. It is an old hotel that has been renamed I would think. Old style with all the rooms facing outside with no elevator for the second floor that I could find. First impressions in the lobby, there was a musty mold smell in the lobby. The staff was beyond excellent, very nice, and helpful. The room is older but clean. Probably could use some updates. The bathroom was a 2 piece with a sink in the main room on carpet. Lots of TV channels, including a Naples channel that I found helpful, and excellent Internet connectivity. Would I stay again? The musty smell was in the room as well, and needs to go. The room has a very large window that opens up to outside as well - not the best for privacy. Pool and all facilities were clean, did not use the Restaurant, but looks like a great place.
Made is wait to check in til 2pm didnt like that didnt tell us wasnt happy. But place is nice.
