The authentic mexican tacos are the best. I live 30 minutes away in Tallahassee and make the drive twice a month. your choice of meat, double wrapped with a corn tortilla, chopped onions, fresh cilantro. served with a side of sauteed onions and peppers and green chile sauce. I fatty it up with some queso blanco but served as is they are muy auténtico y muy delicioso
A very family friendly, friendly place. The staff is "Great". Service is fast and very good. The food is what I am used to from the West Coast. Very authentic and Very, Very Good!!! If you like good Mexican food you need to try this wonderful place. They have a restaurant in Madison FL also.
Really good cook to order food. Cold Mexican beer. Really Good for a small town. At a fair price that makes you want to come back for more. I have to say better then any place in the panhandle that I have had.
Awesome food , great people , great service. Eaten here MANY times and even had my wedding catered from Rancho Grande. I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant, for being the only Mexican restaurant in the surrounding area Monticello is spoiled. :)
Located in the downtown historic area of Monticello, Fl - this restaurant didn't seem like much from the outside! However, the locals of Monticello raved about their food while I was visiting soooo I had to know if it measured up to the hype... AND IT DID! The entrees and the ambiance exuberated authentic comidas mexicana! Whether you love mexican food or are just looking for a good place to eat - Try RANCHO GRANDE MEXICAN RESTAURANT if you're ever in Monticello or near the Tallahassee area! You will not regret it :)
