This place is.... RACIST....RACIST......RACIST!!!!!!!! Do not go here if you are not White or a Red Neck! They kicked my brother out because the waiter pushed him...... and my brother is a DOCTOR! Big Mistake!!!! ...And I am a Nurse..... who works for both Orlando Health and Florida Hospital.....! I AM NOT BLACK...I am HALF SPANISH - ASIAN AND POLYNESIAN! What era are you from KKK? Love Dexter's and especially the Lake Mary location. I was craving the Dexter’s Chicken Egg Rolls at 2pm today and unknowingly its a dinner menu item. Brooke was kind of enough to see if the chef would prepare them for me anyway. Staff was extremely accommodating! Today was an awesome day to sit on the patio and people watch. Dexter's of Lake Mary will be a go to spot for myself and friends.
they have very nice people working with the customer service, the food taste super good, I do like it very much, BUT the kitchen is A BIG MESS, they don't have any consistency at all, my husband and I always used to order food to go and my food NEVER was the same, ALWAYS they forget some ingredient but is ALWAYS, ONE TIME I HAD TO CAME BACK THREE TIMES, now even they check for normal things there is always something that the kitchen forget to put in the salad, if one day is mandarin MISSING, other day is onions when the onions are there the dressing is missing or wrong. Is no wining time with them, my husband and I used to have dinner to go 4-5 times a week, lately is once a month but even with that they don't miss the opportunity to forget something, is sad because I really like that food and is healthy, but we rather a place with better service and focus in what they are doing.
I went with a small group of friends on a Saturday at 3:30 in the afternoon. I ordered a chicken quesadilla, and my wife got one of their salads. The service wasn't terrible, and the food wasn't great. Looking around the plaza, I'm sure that there are places with better food and better service for about the same price. Dexter's wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't memorable. I'd be willing to give them another try, but I wouldn't rush back or suggest them to a friend.
