Jensen Beach Bowl
Reviews
I have lived in Jensen Beach since 2008. I try to give all small businesses a chance, but my experience on the night of December 26 was absolutely terrible. I wear a size 13 1/2 shoe. I tried their size 13, but I couldn't fit into it. Even though they didn't have a size 13 and 1/2, I decided to try on their size 14 anyway. It seemed pretty loose, but I had no problem paying 3 dollars extra for the shoe because its their policy. At first, I tried to bowl with the shoes on, but I realized it wasn't going to work. The shoes were so loose on my feet I started slipping and couldn't gain ground. I knew if I wanted to continue to play I would have to use my own shoes. I bowled several games with my flat dockers on without issue. Then, while my friend and I were still bowling, an older woman who works at the location came up to me and told me that I must wear her shoes I explained to her that I tried to but they didn't have any shoes that fit my feet. Then she said "It doesn't matter, I gave you two sizes to choose from, and you must choose one." She then turned off our lane and refused to turn it back on until I wore the shoes I was flabbergasted! I'm trying to think of another time when I experienced customer service this bad and I honestly can't come up with one. My friend and I promptly left the location. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a bowling alley and I highly recommend that you stay away if you want to be treated kindly and have a good time.
