Casbah Cafe

We were just passing by in the neighborhood and decided to stop here for lunch. Very good selection of appetizers, salads, and entrée. Plus full page of beer selection and hookah lounge. Lamb kebab was great.
Great place to go chill and smoke and they have some ok food there. Only complaint is the place is so small on the inside. The person beside you is pretty much sitting in your lap and there is hardly enough room to walk or move. Sit outside if possible where you have a little bit of space between you and the person next to you.
this is our hanging out most of the times, staff is friendly, food is ok for me i love appetizers combos, drink and hookahs are good, prices very well, belly dancers at weekend, nice safe neighborhood..
I LOVE the Casbah. They have awesome hookahs and the atmosphere is great. It's relaxing and they've such awesome food. The only thing that I don't like is that they've belly dancers sometimes. I'm a single lady and I like to bring dates here sometimes and when I'm trying to get to know someone it's nice to not have distractions... :/
A huge disappointment. We were seated immediately at a tiny table between two other tables. We were elbow to elbow with other diners. It was close enough to hear their conversations word for word. I sat on the booth side and my boyfriend had the pleasure of sitting on a tiny little uncomfortable stool across from me. We were greeted quickly but were not ready to order drinks because we had barely even sat down. That was not a problem but the fact that when we asked for a couple of minutes she never returned was a big problem. We waited 15 minutes and she never once made eye contact with us or even got close enough for us to grab her to get service. The last straw was when Courtney, our waitress, pulled out her cell phone and disappeared into the back. We got up and left without being acknowledged by anyone and walked across the street to The Brick where we were seated, given drinks, and had our food on the table in the same amount of time that we sat waiting for any service at The Casbah. They might have great food but the atmosphere is overrated and the service is horrible. Will never go back.
