McDonald's
Reviews
Visiting this McDonald's on Saturday for the first time, my family and I were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the store, it's restrooms, and the friendliness of the staff. After visiting our Lake Placid house from For Lauderdale, we decided on a quick trip to Vero Beach. Having only made the Lake Placid to Vero Beach trip a couple of times, we allowed the GPS to map our way. We made it to Frostproof as a shortcut off of US 27 north toward US 60. About a mile outside of Frostproof, my three-year old daughter proclaimed that she had to go to the bathroom. Not yet knowing that we would find the Mickey D's a mile in front of us, I asked her if she really needed to go. Upon arrival at this location, my wife took our daughter inside while I searched for coupons to make a purchase. Although we just ate lunch, I wanted to at least make a small purchase as we were using the restaurant bathroom. With three small kids, we have gotten used to making the stops but I make it a point to purchase something and not just use the bathroom for free. When my wife entered McDonald's a male employee held the door open for her and greeted her hello. I was advised that the bathrooms were very clean and that the restaurant - although an old-style building - was very modern and clean inside. My wife purchased a couple of drinks and advised that the cashier was very complimentary toward my young daughter. The outside of the restaurant was very clean and they had plenty of parking. Not much to report on a McDonald's but this is my "two-cents" on this particular location. /s/ William E. Lewis Jr, Davie, Cooper City, Fort Lauderdale, Florida
I ride my Harley to McD's for a drink/lunch almost every day. First McDonald's I ever see a sign saying one refill only. They didn't enforce it but still I don't need that...too many other places to go. Parking lot/drive is steep hill not so great for a motorcycle. Won't be back there.
