I've tried this restaurant several times now and ordered several different dishes in an attempt to find something I'd consider 'good', but have had no luck. The service is so slow, so if you have anywhere to be, pass this place up. The food is always flavorless and the coke is always flat. They even managed to mess up a club sandwich with burned bread, missing ingredients, and no mustard as I'd asked for. I've tried the steaks, chicken, and seafood; and it all tastes the same----like nothing. NOT worth the money. I gave them plenty of chances, but if a place can't even get a sandwich right, then it's not worth the visit.
None of the food was hot, appetizers warm, soup, warm, dinner warm at best service slow as molasses, over 2 hours to complete our meal. Escargo was tasteless, onion rings greasy, signature thai stir fry reminded me of a tv dinner. Deep fried shrimp on a stir fry meal, really? arrived at 5:50, and left at 7:58, slow service!! The salad was cold, and good! I'm not sure what the other reviewers relationship is to the owners and restaurant employees, Family maybe?
Always good food no disappointments,best Eggs Benedick in the county. First rate service I tell everyone & not afraid to either! !
I was blessed and lucky to speak at a recent Dunnellon Chamber of Commerce Meeting at Bentley's and it was terrific. What a great breakfast, and the people I met we're part of a terrific connected community.
My favorite Dunnellon Restaurant, good menu, good service, worth a visit.
