This place is very cool as far as the kava and the south Pacific theme is concerned. However, some members of the bar staff are incredibly rude and quite disrespectful. It can take up to 5 to 10 minutes to get their attention so that you can have a cup of kava and the music is inappropriate and the volume very loud...nearly impossible to relax. Also, this kava bar is very popular with the drug rehab community because they offer a buzz without the worry of failing a drug test. Furthermore, management here seems to be completely primitive as the "manager" refuses to treat customers with any form of respect or dignity. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!
I've been a patron since the place opened 10 years ago - the owner is meticulous about keeping the place clean, sourcing high-quality kava root and serving it fresh daily, and making sure customers know how to enjoy kava safely and responsibly.

My hangout spot and haven't seen a fight in the 5 years I have been there.
