DO NOT DINE HERE My girlfriend and I have dined at this establishment three times now for the all you can eat sushi available on Sundays. This was the last time. The first time was a good experience even though the servers are not welcoming or polite. The second time, it took over forty five minutes for our first plate to come up. I did not complain, I understand it gets busy, however, I wrote that I was allergic to avocado on the ticket and notified the server. The plate still came out with avocado. Once again, I did not complain, and just ate the pieces that clearly did not have avocado on them and reminded them politely for the second round of sushi, which they did get right. We gave it another shot this past Sunday, and it was the most awful restaurant experience I have ever had. We arrived at 7:45 pm and checked in at the register/host stand. The server stated, "wait and remember where you are in line." Ok... After 8:15, as booths became available, they did not seat anyone else and my girlfriend and I happened to be next. There were two couples behind us as well. Finally when a server walked by us, someone asked at 8:45 why we hadn't been seated. "We stop serving unlimited sushi at 9:00pm," was the reply. THE STAFF LET US WAIT 45 MINUTES WITH NO INTENTION OF SERVING US AND NEVER INFORMED US! Others left, however, I was frustrated and asked to speak to the manager. He REFUSED to come speak with me and the server informed us that we could be seated. I was given LACKLUSTER service once again, offered one round of sushi that fell apart as soon as it was touched, MY YELLOWFIN TUNA SUSHI HAD AN INCH LONG BONE IN IT, and it was just an overall miserable experience. I wasn't about to complain because I was already walking on thin ice with these people over being seated. When the check came I said thank you and the server never even made eye contact or acknowledged me. I still left 15% (I generally leave 20% or more) but vowed to write this review. Don't go here. It may be a little more pricey, but Peking Tokyo, Singapore Grill, and Go Fish are much better options, and you will be treated like a human being. You really do get what you pay for. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I was surprised how fresh fish meat was and how earnest they kept the rice portion pretty small. It is definitely worth a price if you are looking for unlimited sushi.

Went there with total of 14 people for all you can eat sushi. originally had reservation for 16 people and they gave us 3 different table which are not connected at all. I arrived there little later than other people. It took 20 minutes to someone to come to take my order and took another 30 minutes to come out. quality was really bad. as soon as I touched sushi, it broke. every single one. waited over 30 minutes for second plate, but never came out. paid 42+tax for 2 people, but only ate about $30 amount for their regular price. because second plate never came out!! and the chinese guy looked like a manager yelled at me for 2 people didn't show up. (ther are chinese, not japanese. don't get fooled) First, I wasn't the host of the group. I just got invited. Second, I don't know who they are. Third, if we didn't reserve for those 2 people, were they gonna let sit random people or something on my table?? I've left tips under 15% only twice for bad service in the past. (it was still around 10%) this time, I just threw coins at the manager guy and left. the worst service I ever gotten at restaurants.

Easily the best sushi I have had in Connecticut. The spicy tuna roll (my basic default roll in judging a sushi bar) was phenomenal. I also had the delight of trying sushi chef David's signature roll - a delightfully pleasant blend of charred raw tuna, avocado, five types of roe, miso sauce, and tempura flakes. It was simply divine, if not a little large for eating. The service was prompt and very friendly. The only downside was tea not being present on the menu. Sure I could have asked for it, but I did not see it listed, and went with a water. 4/5, would push, brother.
