LA FAKILLYA Had not ate here in 20 years thought i would try it again HUGE mistake the only thing mexican is the food names food just sucked and as for price really overpriced new name should be la fakillya. If you want good mexican food drive the 27 miles to yuma and eat at la cabana its worth the drive.
Bad service, VERY bad food. Bad everything. Do not waste your time and money here!!! If I could put no star that would be great. Or even better, negative 5 stars would be perfect!
We stayed in Wray this past Friday night to go see the greater prairie chickens. I thought some good Mexican food would be a tasty supper. Unfortunately, this wasn't it. The local white farmers seemed to like the place just fine, but the food was about as Mexican as a Burger King taco, and it was even very good Americanized Mexcan food, either. The waitress put the plates down backward on the table so I got my wife's food and she got mine. But everything was so similar that we didn't even notice until the meal was half over. The popular dish seems to be the beef and bean sopapilla, which is a big deep fried burrito in a flour tortilla. At the table next to us, all four diners ordered that. I had a combo plate that was supposed to be a green chile smothered burrito and an enchilada. My wife had the enchilada plate. We ordered a side of sour cream, which came in a sealed plastic tub like you might get at a drive through window. I guess not enough people want sour cream to warrant just scooping out a dollop from a bigger container. On the plus side, the combo meals come with your choice of iced tea or lemonade. The waitress warned me that it was pink lemonade, but I had it anyhow. It was Kool-Aid style lemonade, which didn't surprise me too much. After our meals, we high-tailed it out of there. No need to stay for dessert.
