Artisan Restaurant at the Stonebridge Inn
Reviews
Visited this restaurant twice in 1 week. The first visit was great! Thanks Emily! Our next visit was awful! The bar staff, specifically Chelsea & Henrietta were more concerned with saving the bar money than providing excellent service. We complained to management and was told that we would be taken care of, yet nothing was done to better our experience. No comps no desserts. Nothing! Though convenient, I am certain the additional travel time to another restaurant would have been worth it. I would not recommend this restaurant based on the inconsistency.
Nice interior and bar area. Food is good, menu is awesome, and the restaurant has a nice, relaxed atmosphere.
a really good choice in the village. the food is consistently good, the service is hit or miss. reservations are a must for dinner. their trout is worth a visit.
We went here to have some wine and get some appetizers a little later at night. When we arrived there weren't many tables to sit at and a gentlemen in an Artisan shirt that looked like he was winding down drinking a glass of wine offered us his. We asked for the bar menu and he explained that the kitchen was closed. We ended up getting a very high end cheese plate custom made by him and later found out that he was the head chef. He went way outside of what he had to do and we were all very appreciative. To top it off they have an excellent wine list and what looks like a very good menu. If you dig deeper you will find that this restaurant has received multiple awards for its quality. Excellent food, service, and not over the top expensive.
The bar menu offers prices that hover between $10 and $12 per dish (considered the best deal in Snowmass). Try the Maytag blue cheese burger for $12- I think it's by far the best burger in town. There is a great deck out back that overlooks the pool. With good beers on tap- the bar is a great locals hangout. Right next to the bar is the main restaurant. The menu is excellent and changes often. My favorites are the slow roasted duck with drunken cherry sauce or the Colorado lamb chops with rosemary polenta and moroccan olive plum tomato ragu. Try the grilled artichoke with truffle oil drizzle for an appetizer- it is so juicy and delicious. The restaurant menu prices are a steal- plenty of food on your plate- ranging from $18 to $38, with the surf and turf at $52. mmmmm..good
