Farrago Markets Cafe
Reviews

We shared the Vietnamese Salad and the Beer Battered Salmon Fish and Chips. It was the best thing we ate on our trip. Aside from that, the service was excellent. We were impressed with the woman (who's name we since forgot but it began with the letter D), who was able to manage the store all alone during the mid-shift and took time to answer all our questions about the menu. She was very sweet and possessed impressive knowledge in the way of diet restrictions and food allergies. We found out Farrago was voted Best of Pagosa Springs in some local publication and rightfully so. Many of the items are the personal creation of the owner and are made from scratch daily such as the sun dried tomato tartar sauce and the salad dressings. Next time I'm in Pagosa Springs I will probably eat here as many times as humanly possible before leaving. Undoubtedly the best place to eat off Pagosa/Main Street and likely the healthiest. Would recommend to anyone passing through.

really tasty food and wonderful and engaging waitress, but why did our basket of fries take 45 minutes and come out after our entrees and after the people who were seated and ordered the same appetizer as us. at least she recognized and gave a free beer after denying the mess-up.

This place was a nice find. The food was good. I enjoyed the salmon fish & chips. The outside eating area was clean and well maintained. I'll stop by again when I'm in the area.

The lamb gyro was incredibly fresh and out-of-this-world good. Too bad Pagosa is not the mid-point between Durango and Denver as this could easily become a favorite respite, although the fresh-baked goodies may force a premature stop on occasion.

Food looked like it was good but I wouldn't know because we never got waited on! After waiting twenty minutes at our table we decided to leave. Waiters walked by but never help us.
