I am giving Rooster's 3 stars because I'm trying to be nice, but overall I would say they are just very inconsistent. We've eaten there four times in the last couple of months. At least half of the time everything was fine. Food and service were both good. One of the times we had mediocre service, but the food was still good. Last night, however we had a terrible experience. We waited FOREVER for our order, at least 30 minutes I would say. The waitress went by us numerous times without asking if we needed anything and I had to ask several times for a refill on our water. I could almost understand this if the place was busy, but it wasn't anywhere close to busy. Then we finally got our order, and it was wrong. We waited another 20 minutes for the correct pizza and decided when it arrived we would just take it home as we were tired of sitting there. Once home, we discovered the pizza was undercooked, so we had to finish baking it at home and to add insult to injury, when we finally got it completely cooked it tasted terrible! I tried to call to complain to management and was told that the owners are out of town until next month but that I could leave my name and number and they would try to look into it when they got back. I try to give every place a fair shake, and recognize that there are always bad days, but this was just too much.

I personally had a very bad experience at this restaurant. It took almost 25 minutes to get a burned pizza, and I could hear people (cook? waitstafff?) shouting and cursing in the back. Everyone seemed to be in a very bad mood, the place was dirty--all in all, not a great time.

The town drunks must have written those good reviews about this dump as they are the only patrons! Food SUCKS! But you will get free order of flies with your burger!

The patrons at roosters are very well liked by the owners . AS LONG AS THEY ARE WELL TO DO! The food is very inconsistent. I was very proud to bring in a friend from out of town, and we were served by an uncaring inconsiderate waitress. He got a bad, small piece of meat on a plate by itself. A baked potato later on well after the badly cooked steak arrived. When I complained to the cook, I got chewed out by the premadonna owner! BAD EXPERIENCE!

We love this place. The food is fantastic. Try the pizza. It has to be the best in Colorado. Fun place to hang out and have a beer or bring the kids in for dinner. They have free wifi and a bunch of flat screen TV's.
