What a rad place! Amazing food and a groovy staff who work together to make sure you have a great experience. We opted for the 3 course meal at $26 which is a HELL of a deal, especially since I brought some of my entree home and ate it later. Love the individual loafs of bread for the tables. They are also very accommodating with food allergies, my roomie has some pretty strict ones. We let them know when we made the reservation and they were on top of it! I have nothing but good things to say about this place! Go there whenever you can! The drive up sunshine canyon is also gorgeous!

Gold Hill Inn, the perfect place to dine, this is a quaint restaurant just in the foothills above Boulder. I highly recommend the 6 course dinner, BUT don’t eat lunch that day. The food is superb with so many distinctive flavors for everyone’s taste. The people there treat you like family and if you choose a Saturday you probably will also be entertained by band that is mostly likely local people who just love to come and play. Reservations are a must but you will never be hurried to finish since they only seat the table once that evening. We've been going there for 34 plus years and never been disappointed.

Go to the Gold Hill Inn because the drive up is incredible, and the setting is as close to being in a John Wayne film you will ever get. My duck was epic, side dishes just OK, but I have always been pleasantly surprised. Had a 1/2 duck with a great Pinot Noir most recently. Somehow ended up with a 2nd 1/2 duck and more excellent wine. Can't wait to go back! The Bluebird Lodge is a ton of fun if you can fill it up for the night. Don't pass up a chance to experience this unassuming historic establishment. Really thrilled they made it through the Four Mile Fire.

This is perhaps my favorite restaurant on planet Earth. An ecclectic experience of mismatched tableware, ghost town mystique and I think the whole building leans to the left. I've been visiting them at least once a year for the past decade and I've never had a meal that was less than heaven. The hosts are gracious, the food fantastic, views to die for and a well stocked bar that you may need to make use of after the 40 minutes, gut wrenching, hair pin turn, washboard road you take from Boulder. The price is not cheap but the food is amazing and it never stops! Course after course until your convinced you can't eat another bite... and then comes dessert...followed by another 2 courses. You don't want to miss this one!
