Food was good, everything else was mediocre. We had to wait ten minutes before we our server first came to the table and the needlessly cramped setup killed any ambiance. It was so loud that the server had to yell the specials at us. My visit to the men's restroom was a nightmare. The space should be rebuilt as single use. The stall was a tiny, uncomfortable, and poorly built box with blood stains (actually!) on the door.
I was here this past weekend and the place and the food were excellent. Service was good too. I'm looking forward to the next trip to Basalt so I can go there again.
What a great restaurant and bar. Food is consistently good.
there's something about basalt that makes for great appetizers and ordinary entrees. the tapas are great.
