What a GREAT idea! A wine bar in a really cool coffee house! This past week's selections were all from Paso Robles. They plan on changing California regions (appellations?) every two weeks. All of the wines were from small wineries--less than 5000 cases---and were incredible. Also, they have a "torte pesto" that is served as an appetizer, but is easily a meal for two (and went great with the wine!). A tasting fee allowed me to taste 5 wines (he snuck in a 6th---I ended up buying a glass of it) and then buy by the glass or bottle. A great deck to sit at, live "folk music" on the deck, pesto....it doesn't get much better than that!
