food was great. pies very good. attentive staff never let my coffee run out. service was best i had in longtime wish there was more restaurants like this one. stop by see james deen memorial.
Traveled SR 41 for fifty years. The only place to make a pit stop other that the rest area a mile or so west. No longer travel but if I did, Jack's would be at the top of the list. Wasn't till the eighties that I learned of the accident just east of Jack's involving James Dean. There were no markers in all of those years. Only later did the tree become the focal point for such. This is one of many an accident that need not of happened. Many lives have been lost along a very short stretch of SR 41-46.
great hamburgers love that place also I heard the pies are the bomb.
