We've been coming here for years...Used to be mainly special dates, but now are really enjoying their Thurs. night lobster special. It's consistently fabulous, and their baked potatoes are the best...anywhere. If you don't enjoy noisy crowds, you'd better go early. We're going tonight, & I can't wait!
When for our anniversary and had mixed reviews. My wife's crab stuffed salmon was pretty good, but my cioppino was only fair. I didn't like the king crab and the broth was really salty. The clam chowder was good, and the service was also good, just mis ordered I guess.
Went for first time Friday night 10/10/2014 BIG RIP OFF steak was so tuff and bloody baked potato was so small as was the salad the bread was flavorless. The menu on the internet is totally different from the menu in the restaurant . They must make their money off the seniors that go for the drinks at the bar eat while their drunk to enjoy this place, on a Friday night the dinning area was nearly empty at 7:00 pm. I believe it's hid away for a reason your better off not finding this place.
Love Love Love Rudy's. I primarily go here for their unlimited soup and salad lunch deal - $9.95. You get all salad and soup you can eat. The cool thing is they change their soup offerings every day so I'm constantly trying new things. And of course they have their clam chowder every day. I've also eaten there burgers and sandwiches. Everything is great!
My husband decided to take me to Rudy's because it had the word "Lobster" in it...AND it was my 60th Birthday. Our waiter "Michael" was beyond excellent, we never wanted for anything. I asked him first thing if they had a 14 to 16 ounce Lobster tail available and he took off in a rush to ask the chef... he returned and said they had a TWENTY ounce one and he reserved it for me!!! My husband got the Shrimp Skampi and loved it... my lobster was to DIE for!!! We traveled from Grass Valley (about an hour's drive) and we will be back!!!! Awesome food, wonderful service!!! Make a reservation, they are packed!!!
