Love this! Sort of similar to old decade Happy Days setting. Meals are cheap, depending on which you pick. And the people are nice, depending on which ones you talk to. Ultimate burger place for me!
I had a mediocre visit to The Boss. The customer service of the girls behind the counter was impolite and a little rude. They were unfriendly and unaccommodating. I spent $30.00 on a meal for three. I wouldn’t complain if the service and food were better. I was totally unaware of the deal on Wednesday and Sunday because I wasn’t told of it. It being Sunday you would think that would be the first thing they would offer. I know it’s a business but it’s a local business that prides itself on being friendly and courteous. I found neither at my visit. Wish it would have been different. I went to that burger place as a young girl and they were fun and friendly. Don’t know what happened but I hope “The Boss” reads this and tells his girls behind the counter to perk up a bit! No, a lot a bit!
The Boss used to be *the* place for burgers in Oroville. I grew up on Boss Burger and even used to live across the street for a while and ate there several times a week. Lately though, it's become overpriced and the staff just seem to have a "could care less" attitude. I hate to say it, but if you have good memories of Boss Burger, don't go back and keep the memories intact.
Can get a bit crowded, but you get a good old fashion burger and fries. The staff is awesome.
