Rooney's Irish Pub
Reviews

Awesome place! My corned beef and my husbands ribs were delicious. Some of the best food I've had. Good beer selection. Will definitely be back.

So it's a Saturday night and me and my husband along with his Air Force squadron decide we will try this pub out. We pay 5 bucks to get in to listen to some shitty DJ spin crap music, Ah it's whatever i thought to myself. The place is pretty crowded so it should be it's Saturday night. We wan't to find a spot to sit and enjoy our drinks and see that every bar stool at the bar is taken and so are the few tables in the front of the bar so we decide to sit in this huge vacant area with half a dozen tables and not one soul sitting at them. Were told we can't sit there it's reserved for VIP and the only way to get VIP is to buy over priced champagne. At this point in time I'm very frustrated so I go to order a drink for me and my husband. I ask for two long island iced teas and then i get charged 20 dollars my jaw dropped my father being a Bartender himself I knew this was way overpriced so I brush it off. I take a sip and it was literally the weakest long island iced tea i have ever had half way finishing my drink it was just ice and watered down tea left. so were just standing around trying to salvage what's left of our night and i notice that a bouncer makes two customers get up and takes the bar stools from right under them and leaves these people to stand without any explanation as to why he did so. I look further into it because the fact is if someone did this to me I would be livid and come to find out they clear an area of the bar at 9:30.. The little room they do have they clear it to make room for people to stand. We were at the bar for maybe 20 minutes and we left and wen't to another local bar I will not name and got shots of patron for 6 bucks which would have been 10 at Rooneys and had a great time.I have never actually eaten here so i cannot comment on how the food and service is as a restaurant BUT as a BAR this place is literally the worst bar I've been to in a long time.

This place is way awesome. Lots of attention to details. Highly recommended to anyone who likes good food and great atmosphere. Friendly knowledgeable wait staff. Been here twice this week. And love it. I've had the fish and chips and the Ruben. Also as you would assume the beer selection is great. Authentic Irish pub/restaurant nailed. =)

Good service, great atmosphere but the wings were awful. I like to think I'm a connoisseur of chicken and buffalo wings and I have had my fair share of bad wings before, but the wings at Rooney's were by far the worst I've ever tasted. The wings were soggy and luke-warm and tasted as if they were dipped in a jar of cold spaghetti sauce before plated. This is a great pub and restaurant, just don't order the wings; they are complete garbage. Which sucks, because nothing is better than awesome beer and awesome wings.

This place is great. We had some special requests for a table in a corner with an electric outlet so we could watch a cable broadcast of a live race on a lap top while we consumed great food and excellent beer. Our server was attentive yet careful not to interrupt us unnecessarily. He also helped us get a speed channel broadcast of the same race on their TV. I never felt so catered to. We just blew into town and within 10 minutes we were watching two different broadcasts of the same race with cold beers and orders taken. This was way beyond anything I would ever expect.
